FROM A WHIMSICAL DREAM TO MAGICAL REALITY.
Once a whimsical dream for a couple of city dwellers, Our Little Wine Farm has quickly transformed into a living, breathing, magical reality. We first stumbled across this property the same way that you are now, as guests. It was love at first sight. Little did we know the property was for sale, or that we would end up buying our future dream home a few short weeks later! For us, the property has become a family retreat, a gathering place for friends, and a serene escape to quiet the mind. It is an ideal setting to embrace the slower pace and enjoy the ‘petits plaisirs’ in life. We are happy to share it with you.
The farm is set on 9 acres of terraced land, offering stunning panoramic lake views from every corner, with 4 acres of planted grapes consisting of Cabernet Franc (the vineyard closest to the house), Merlot (the lower vineyard closest to the lake), and Semillon (the largest vineyard in the ravine to the North). We highly encourage strolls through the vines, as they offer both a romantic and reflective experience that is a joy for the senses.

THE HOUSE.
This artfully re-imagined log cabin feels nothing like your traditional chalet. With a modern open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, great bedroom separation, and several multi-purpose rooms, you will find the space perfect for larger groups. The spacious kitchen makes nightly feasts a breeze while the outdoor dining space with wet bar makes for fantastic days by your own private salt water pool. Our home is designed to be an oasis for the simple pleasures, geared towards family meals, lawn and board games, and relaxing outdoors.
With five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the home comfortably accommodates ten. The loft area also has sleeping arrangements, along with reading and games area, for kids. The downstairs rec room also offers a secondary TV area and game space, great for older kids.
AMENITIES.
The home is set up with salt water pool, gas fire pit, dry sauna, small gym, ping pong table, bocce, a plethora of board games, and a take-a-book-leave-a-book library. For winter guests, we do have a wood burning hot tub (only available November to February). We have high speed internet and access to streaming TV (just log in to your account). Sonos speakers area available inside and out. And yes, we have pool floaties for you.
CABERNET FRANC.
Medium bodied red wine whose origins likely lie in the Basque country of France. The wine is loved for its savory, bell pepper-like flavours, medium-high acidity and mouthwatering taste. It is an ideal food pairing wine. You can find single varietal Cabernet Franc wines, but the variety is also quite popular as a blending grape in the famous Bordeaux Blend.

MERLOT.
A juicy, elegant, and versatile red grape variety that’s grown around the globe, but it’s world famous for its role in the luxurious blends of Bordeaux. While Merlot’s characteristics vary depending on the climate, soil, and winemaking techniques, wines made with the grape are typically dry and can show flavors of red and black fruits, softer tannins, and medium to medium-high body and acidity
SÉMILLON.
This wine is loved for its full body, like Chardonnay, but with flavors closer to Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc. It’s an important blending component in White Bordeaux, including the prized dessert wine, Sauternes. Wines can be surprisingly rich and when oaked, can taste similar to Chardonnay.
